Don't scream ladies!!!

Mice

Loathsome soundless

Scuttling gnawing evading

Man's best laid plans

lol oh so true. I had one that kept getting into the metal cabinet I was using as a pantry. The scratching was driving me up a wall. I finally got up, in the middle of the night, and dumped about half of a shaker of baby powder on the shelf it sounded like he was on and went back to bed. After everything got quiet I heard him start to scratch, the he sneezed, scratched, sneezed, scratched, sneezed lol. He finally gave up and left. I lay listening and laughing.

Good one.

They do manage to escape our traps--until they don't.
