Kindred Spirits

Kindred Spirits

A Poem by Helen Crutchett

Kindred Spirits

Kinship follows closely our magic road

Intimately flowering our starry enchantment

Night time unfetters our hearts with wings

Daring us to fly unencumbered with faeries

Restless spirits flying cobwebbed threads of

Engaging sonnets capturing words soothing

Disappearing beyond the sound of silence

Sky wanderer’s keepers of the stars

Painting memory portraits with silk brushes

Iridescent sparks ignite and stir emotions

Rainbow perfumed garlands swathed heavily

In their true colours following two seekers

Trespassing on hallowed ground

Sprites entering into the spirit of their moon dance "

Beautiful images...seem to be following (or leading) words into Heaven...
