A Lonely Teardrop

A Lonely Teardrop

A Poem by Helen Crutchett

Colour splashes

Setting oval sun

Swirling sky colours

Swimming before my eyes

As a lonely tear drop

Falls

I stumble home crestfallen

With a sympathetic moon

That was very pretty!! I am reminded of spending time on the beach at night, and walking the way home with that full moon tracing across all the crests of every wave on the horizon. Beautiful poem!! xoxo -Mark
