Secrets

A Poem by Helen Crutchett

Say farewell to the heaviness

of a spirit dampening world

rise above all this dross

to write our story gold

Silver lakes shine like crystals

eyes pools of liquid dew

mirrors love divine our destiny

my beloved for us to choose

Laughing and singing we

fly on passion's wings

tiptoeing on ancient stars

gliding though the milky way

the way of perfect love

from glistening fountains

cloud bursts of coloured rain

we enter the mysteries of life

secrets that the the gods and

goddess never told

a sweet caress under a crescent moon

our promises made eternal flow

blessings of angel tunes

we vowed our wedded bliss

 forever cradled in our love

the secrets to reveal
