Loneliness

Longingly my heart spans the vast

Ocean of blue wishing you

Near to me my beloved

Estranged forever I’ve become

Lost in thinking what might have been

Isolated from love and crying

Night after

Endless night, your presence reaches my

Solitude and in my cocooned

Secluded space I mourn again my loss

A tight form and a soul stirring message penned by a true wordsmith. I pray you do not truly have this feeling. I thank God for having a loving companion through this life, but know the many difficult endings that the story can generate. Relish and relive the high points the blessed moments. And generate as many as you can.

Oh, I just love acrostics, and yours is excellent! You have described so many different "tones" of being along - endless night, isolated, estranged forever......well crafted!!
