THE MELANCHOLY

THE MELANCHOLY

A Poem by helen shanthi

If sorrow could retaliate  to our complaining,
If happiness could warn us it won't last long,
If anger could loosen up a bit,
If that one smile could last a little longer,
If love wasn't dressed deviously,
If jealousy didnt reveal itself,
If satisfactioncould be attained at the first try,
If lust wasn't the most
And...If only I wasn't expecting a change on all this!
