If I say "I love you" (prose poetry)

A Poem by H. Reno Galo

In your eyes I sank my sadness, in your skin my desire and in your heart my passion. I walked through life, blind, tired and thirsty, but with you I knew the sweet joy of feeling alive; From your hands, I took the heat that gave life to my vagabond soul, and from your lips I drank the poison that killed my loneliness.
If I say "I love you" is not a couple of words, it is the cry of my ardent soul, wishing to express to you the feeling of uncontrollable passion that I feel when you stroke my face at dusk. When I say "I love you" is the truth of my faltering lips that want to eat your mouth while we embrace under the sheets. Loving you, it is the throbbing of my spirit that breathes with each of your glances, loving you is the desire to smell your hair and fill you with caresses under the mantle of the night.
You woke me from the gray dream in which I lived for years, made me free to fly, laugh and sing with the joy of your laughter, gave me the longing for the morning and the sigh of the night, you gave me the heat and the tranquility That I feel when putting my heart in your hands, you gave to my mouth the desire to speak of love only while I look at you.
I seek in my mind your perpetual image, your smile, your kiss, your body. My skin remembers your essence of passionate nights, and my hands your softness and intoxicating heat, I seek in my soul the melody of your voice and the sigh of your love. I look everywhere for your burning skin and the sweetness of your kiss on my naughty tongue, I look for your eyes, your love and your embrace at dusk, I look for in your laughter the morning light and the endless nights of our bed full of sighs and memories.
When I say "I love you" is more than useless words; But what really matters is in my silence, in my caresses, in the kiss I give you
this endless night in which I intend to show you all the love that lives infinitely in my soul. With you by my side, time and
Passion will never be enough, but every second will always be magical.
