The Son's Road

The Son's Road

A Poem by Hector
"

Though you may choose your own path, the right way still remains. The truth remains no matter how it's been hiding.

"
What is this that I feel?
It's like a weight crushing me still.
What is this that I bare?
It's like a force pressing me there.
What is this that I endure?
It's like a pain tearing me sure.

Thousands have walked this road I take
Many more take this road I make
If only they could see it breaks
They can tell what's real and fake.

They are blind, yet still to fate they are bind.
Many hope to find, the life which they are assigned.
But tell me, what hope is here to be defined?
For as many more roads they take they are declined.
Except for one which is narrow but divine.

Is it wrong that one should sing his own song?
That he should dance to it, for it is his own beat?

They say,

Now tell me, who sings along this song when he does not belong?
Have you felt my pain, to see my thoughts so plain?
Even if my thoughts thou somehow hast gain
I do not believe thou knows which thought to explain,
Let alone which to obtain.
All these thoughts they do maintain.

Many have wondered what is this he writes
He sings a song that tries to bite.
They say, let's stop him before his words unite,
Let's pull him down before he climbs this height
For we love the night, therefore we shall expel his light.

But I tell you,

Though the night is near, the light has the way of right.
It blazes so sure, that all things so pure and true feels secure.
Do you think you can bring this light to a stop, that it's riches may drop?
Or do you think you can add anything to its top, that it's fame may pop?

For the one who has given, gave in full.
That nothing it shall lack, but yet to all things it shall pull.

Pass by me O Lord,
That this weight which I feel may drop,
That this force which presses may loose,
That this pain which tears may flee.

Many have asked what road shall lead them home?
They make their own, only to find doom and gloom.
Where they failed, they encourage others to be nailed.
But this I know, through his son the only way, all shall find home.

We all are searching for something, but what is it exactly? Regardless of what we think is best, though we fail to choose the best, the right way still remains to be chosen.
The son's way, the only way is the way to go. On this path you shall find home. Many are raised to the wrong way, so they say "Have you felt my pain, to see my thoughts so plain?". Though life is hard on you the right way still remains.
