Man of sorrows

Man of sorrows

A Poem by Hector
"

Because I loosed something good I write. That someone may read and bring to me what I lost that I shall be healed.

"
Kind and precious one
You glow in radiant so gloriously
If only I could hear a word from you,
How ever more gloriously shall my heart be satisfied.

Your anger is justified
Your wrath is justified
Yet still, please be kind unto me
O kind and precious one

Do not hold my weakness upon me,
Do not hold my worries upon me,
My flesh is weak, that you know.
My soul is feeble, that you know.

If only I could take one gaze into your eyes,
How delighted my soul shall be.
If only I could see your smile,
How delighted my soul shall be.

But look, look what my selfishness has done,
Look what my desires has taken from me.
I have failed to understand the one person whom I love.
Now my love wants nothing to do with me.

Tell me oh sky what shall I do that He may speak to me?
Tell me that I may do it.
Tell me oh waters what shall I do that He may speak to me?
Tell me that I shall do it.
Tell me oh earth what shall i do that He may speak to me?
Tell me that I must do it.

What emptiness surrounds me,
What sorrow compass about me,
What pain now seen around me.
That I have just lost the one I care about, by the doing of my own hands.

Man of sorrow now shall be my new song,
Let all who sees me laugh at me and call me names.
For I could not keep the one thing I considered precious and priceless to me.
Oh how feeble I could be.

My heart cries with words unknown,
My soul sings a song of sorrow.
Let man of sorrow be added unto my name
For pain and sorrow is all I now know.
For a thousand sword emerges from my heart,
And a thousand more divides my heart asunder from all direction.

Please precious one,
Be kind unto me, that this pain may bother me no more,
That I may see your smile once more.
Do not withhold from me your face,
Do not hide from me your voice,

Whisper my name and see how many fortresses I will tear down to answer your call.
Shout out my name and see how many mountains I will scale to answer your call.
Call out my name and see how many waters I will swim through to answer your call.
Please call unto me that my life shall see the light of joy once again.
