You'll always hold a place in my heart.

You'll always hold a place in my heart.

A Poem by Heather

“We met it seems, such a short time ago
You looked at me, needing me so. And I found out, I needed you too.
I remember how we used to play. I recall those rainy days.
The fires glowed, that kept us warm.
But now I see, we’re both alone.
Goodbye may seem forever. Farewell is like the end.
But in my hearts the memory, and there, you’ll always be.”

I like it makes me think.

Deeply inbeded memories are like bones in you forever lol

Very melancholy... But I see just a little ray of hope at the end. ^.^

I love the flow of this! :)

this is so beautiful, such tenderness expressed. It immediately made me smile and warmed my heart. I enjoyed every word but the ending was perfection.

Very pleasant feeling comes from reading this short piece.
No grudge,no complain,no revenge and no curse.
A decent love ends as a decent memory.
Adore you,Heather for the lovely poem.
