Tell Me Please

Tell Me Please

A Poem by Heather
"

A poem that was written to me by someone by the name that started with an A. I forgot his last name but this is one of the poems he had written to me last year. I thought I would share it. Enjoy

"
Tell me.

I can see you have two hearts,
one that is beating already and
one waiting for someone. Is he lost?

Tell me.
I can feel your shadows and beauty
spread on the furniture and walls.
Are you a color or an angel?

I can say that you are a nice member
Of this cruel world in the invisible mirror
of this imaginary heart you make to me.

I can smell the pillow on which
you lay your pretty mind every night,
the bed like a boat in which your soft body
travels into fantastic dreams,
dreams you want to feel for real.
Tell me, are you a brave dreamer?

Are your nails, lips and heart
of the same color?
Are your eyes a morsel of your hair?

The rude growl of a street dog means
that I am right now peeking through your
window without you knowing.
I’ll knock at the door soon,
just coming to tell you
that you are another meaning for beauty.
Tell me, what do you think of me.
Tell me, please.
