A walk in the park

The cool grass between my toes
The light breeze tickles my nose

Up in the trees I hear a sound
Of the birds flying round and round
Building nests for their young

As I walk among
All the people in the park
I hear a small dog bark

A young man fishing in the lake
For goodness sake, he's been there five hours!

I see a young man handing a lady flowers
She blushes and hugs him and gives him a smooch

I see an old lady petting her pooch
The little dog barks at a man passing by
Which makes the poor man jump very high

I giggle as I look around
What a lovely day it is!
