If

If

A Poem by WindsorWolf28

If she loves,
Her heart will be torn.

If she dies,
She'll be reborn.

If she lies,
She will cry.

If she tries
She touches the sky.

If she plays,
The other kids laugh.

If she breathes,
She knows it could be her last.

If she remembers,
She knows it will hurt.

If she forgets,
Then the pain will linger.

If she lives,
She'll later die.

If she dies,
She'll be the girl who learned to fly.
