Bonding, Ch.1A Story by WindsorWolf28Emma was hurt..for a year, at least. She meets Abbey, a stereotypical girl, it seems. Let's see if they can be friends, shall we?
The two girls sat at the table, waiting for the Doctor to return. Emma sipped her coke quietly, the straw between her fingers.
"So," Abbey began, tapping her fork anxiously on the side of her bowl. Emma barely looked up from the corner of the table she had been picking carelessly at. "Hmm?" "How'd you and the Doctor meet, exactly?" Abbey kept glancing nervously from her bowl to the other girl, unsure what the other's reaction would be. "Why? Jealous?" Emma smirked, watching Abbey blush and look at her lap. "No." "Then why do you care?" Emma locked her fingers together, and rested her chin on top of them, staring intently at the other girl, her eyes narrowed in a tired, bored expression. "Just 'cuz." She looked up at the waiter that came to the table and traded bowls with him. She was surprised when Emma didn't receive anything, even though she had been there longer. "Aren't you gonna eat?" "Why should I? I'm supposed to be dead anyways." Abbey nearly choked on her water, her eyes going wide. "What?" "you heard me." she sat back, her arms behind her head and her legs crossed. © 2014 WindsorWolf28Reviews
