Hawk

Hawk

A Poem by WindsorWolf28

Hawk,
Why do you fly so high?
Soaring above me
In the sky?

Hawk,
Why do you screech
and claw,
And dip
And rise
And fall?

Oh,
I can see your talons outreached
as you fly towards me.

Circling
Circling

Screech
Screech
Screech

I watch you flap quickly,
Then glide with your wings.

Whoosh,
Whoosh,

I can see you now.

Screech
Screech

I can hear your call.

Cry
Cry

Why do you sing?

Hawk
Hawk
I hear your cries

Hawk
Hawk
You soar the skies
