Papas Girl

Papas Girl

A Poem by Beatiful [[Chaos]]

She takes his hand and holds on tight,

Willing him not to lose the fight.

He smiles down at her,

And a single tear rolls down her cheek.
Knowing she’s no longer weak,

She slowly lets go of his hand,

And silently watches him go

Even as much as she loves him so.

She waves goodbye,

Trying not to cry.

A papas little girl.

I loved this poem, because it can be interpreted in many different ways. She could be growing up and becoming independent, or he could be leaving... it made me think, and I often just read and...don't think. Anyway, excellent write.
