Rain Sonnet

Rain Sonnet

A Poem by Jester
"

Just a small sonnet that I wrote to calm myself down once.

Rain Sonnet

The little droplets of rain fell on me

Cools off my heated anger, and I smile

The clear water is as fresh as the sea

Feels like I haven't done this in a while

It's no longer thunder, just pretty drops

I had prayed so long for this gracious rain

I jump through puddles with short, muddy hops

Although rain sometimes represents sadness

It's only a clearing to all the drought

Always a way to get out of this mess

I now start to see what life is about

Now I feel ready to move on from this

I bid anger farewell, you won't be missed

Author's Note

Jester
No, I didn't exactly use that heartbeat kind of thingie when it comes to my words, because hey, I'm only 13, gimme a break. But if there are any errors with the rhyme scheme, or anything like that, let me know. Thank you!
