My Little Drug Habit

My Little Drug Habit

A Poem by Matthew H. Stirling
"

This could maybe be labelled as "Avant-Garde". Nontheless it is an experimental interpretation of getting lost in some sort of vice, not necessarily drugs.

"

I deliver my lines of sin and blame

And watch my conscious spinning away;

And away it goes …

d away it goes …

ay it goes …

goes …

I like the idea that you're experimenting. It seems to me that that is essential for a poet. I wish this were a little longer, in effect having a more gradual fading into oblivion. Good work.
