As I walked down the driveway to meet the car taking me to the airport, I thought of my mother, my friends, my family, everyone I was leaving behind here in Florida, but I also thought of my father and my brother down in Australia. They needed me, I knew how to cook, to clean. My brother didn't. Mother knew how to cook and clean, that is why she was staying here with her fiancée Jeffery. Jeffery was a short guy, but not as short as my mother. He has dark brown hair and bushy eyebrows, if he'd been out all night he usually smelt like beer but after he has a shower he usually smells like an extremely strong cologne, Jeffery was a very rich business man and only thought of himself..and occasionally mother. I hopped into Jeffery's car. The driver looked into the rear-view mirror and saw me sitting there. He zoomed off wanting to get as far away as possible, before I could change my mind about leaving mother. Mother had sandy blonde hair, blue eyes and very soft skin. She didn't like when I changed the colour of my hair to pink and black. She thought my hair colour was nice as it was, I didn't think sandy blonde hair suit me. Because of my brown eyes, I thought I looked to boring, so I died my hair. I pulled my iPod out of my bag and started listening to whatever i had left it on before. We arrived at the airport 10 minutes later. I got my suitcases out of the boot, Reginald, Jeffery's driver, didn't even bother to say goodbye, he slammed the boot and drove off, leaving me to find my own way. I was only 13 but it was better finding my way around myself. I found the check-in desk and checked myself in. I still hadn't had lunch yet, so I found a salad bar. You see, I'm a vegetarian, I don't like meat, never have, never will. I ordered a fruit salad, I tried to find a seat but the only seat there was, was on a long table with people sitting all around it, I found a seat on the end and dug into my fruit salad, I was about to eat the 3rd piece, when I noticed someone was watching me.
