Chapter Twenty Three- My View

Chapter Twenty Three- My View

A Chapter by Heartful5160

After Darin instructed my parents to go back into the living room, Darin stood right back in front of the T.V. again. I grabbed onto his hand, for support, "Go on and tell them, babe," I said.

"Okay, so the real reason why Jessica wanted me to tell ya'll this was because, she knew that your marriage is falling apart," he said.

"How does she know that?" my mother asked.

"Because she was watching you from above. Bathroom issues with your personals belongings," Darin said.

"Tell them that I know my father quite loving my mom when she quite respecting herself and that's being quoted by my father," I told Darin to tell my parents.

"She wanted me to tell ya'll that she knows that you, Mr. Henders has lost love for your wife, Mrs. Henders, when she quite respecting yourself," he said point to my mom, " She knows that you, Mr. Henders said that, because she saw it with her own eyes that one morning that ya'll were fighting in the bathroom. She wants the marriage to stay together. She wants ya'll to stay together. She loves seeing the view of her two parents loving one another. She was wondering if ya'll knew that she was still here, would ya'll stay together. Keep the marriage alive," he said. There you go baby! I was proud of him!

"Darin, don't you know that one day, she'll pass over and either way me and her father, our love and relationship, can't be saved," my mom said. I looked over at Darin, lost for words. Hurt of pain. "Please Darin, we know that Jessica loves us being together. She loved it when she was young, and she loves it now, but that was the only reason why we tried to keep the relationship building, but the walls just kept on falling. The spark was lost after she was born, it seems. I don't know, may be we were just never meant to be," my father said. I shook my head. This was the worst news a daughter could ever receive, besides her parents dying.

The night ended short and Darin drove home. I didn't want to stick around for my parents, really. Right now, I was just broken by the words that flew out of their mouths! Like how could this be? I sat down on the couch in our living room, waiting for Darin to get home. I looked around the living room, the tree was all nice and lite up. Just thinking about all the family that'll be over here tomorrow. All the Christmas spirit that will try to be floating around. You know I feel so bad, because Darin had missed his company Christmas party. I really do, I mean I shouldn't have to put a halt to him having fun, should I?

I got up from the couch and when I passed the stove to see what time it was, I figured that Darin should be home by now, where was he?
