Chapter Seventeen- My View

While I'm watching over Darin at work, now I can see why he took what he got the other day. I can't really lie. She's not ugly, she's actually quite attractive. If I was a man, I would probably take it too, without hesitation. I watched her make her way into his office. I was watching her body language with every step that she was taking. I made myself soar down to one of his lounge chairs that were placed in a corner of his office. They didn't see me of course. I was invisible, until I was ready to show. She walked around to the back of Darin's desk and placed her hand on his shoulder. She started moving her hand in circular motions, massaging his shoulder, " You know, I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you. You didn't deserve that," she said in this sweet, but yet sexy tone. He looked up at her, and removed her hand from his shoulder, "Look, right now is not the time to be messing with me. I don't want anything from you. I want to suggest you this right now, stay away from me and only come to my needs when I need you. Stop touching me, stop stripping me with your eyes, and just quite being around me," he demanded. I was so happy to see my man finally stand up for himself. See, why couldn't he have done this in this first place? It wasn't that hard. Really, he's her boss and he can fire her, but I guess he forgot that the first time.

"Or what, Darin?" she asked. She placed her petite body in his lap. She started grinding on him. Oh' no, oh' no! This wasn't going to happen! "Just one more time," she begged him, in a whisper tone, 

" You know you want to, babe. The first time was so good, I believe that I could've done what about ten more rounds?" I could see the frustration in his eyes. On his face. I saw that face come alive the other night when he knocked Kaderis out on the hospital floor. He took his hands and placed them on her back, then he moved them up to her hair. He moved her hair to one side of her neck. I knew what he was going to do. He was going to play a little cat and mouse game with her. You know what? I'm going to let him. He placed a little peck on her neck and started moving his hands up and down her hips, " You know, the first time was really good and you know I wouldn't mind doing it again," he put his hands back on her back and took all the force he had in his body and pushed her off of him and onto the ground, " But my fiance' is dead and I don't even remember why I had sex with you!" he yelled. 

She looked up at him with confusion, "But you wanted it too," she said.

 "It was just for the moment. Ever heard of a come and go, hit it and run, smash and pass? I guess not," he said. Man, I was so proud of him! "You're fired!" he exclaimed. About time baby! "But...but...but," she stuttered, not knowing what to say. "Get out and all your stuff needs to be out by the end of the day," he ordered her. She got up from the ground and brushed herself off and left his office leaving the door slamming.

"Darin?" I replied to get his attention.

"Jessica, you saw that?" he asked me. He turned in his chair to see me sitting in his lounge chair. "Yeah, I did and babe I couldn't be more proud of you," I got up and walked my way to him. I sat down in his lap and he wrapped his mighty arms around my waist, "I loved the little cat and mouse game you played with her too. It was really funny to watch, because I knew what was coming. I've seen that face before," I said.

"What face?" he wondered. That's right, he doesn't know that I know he knocked out Kaderis at the hospital that night. I looked up at the ceiling, trying to figure out the right way to say this,

" Well, let's just say that I know that you knocked out Kaderis the night I died. You walked in and you saw him holding my hand and the next thing I knew was that he was laying on the floor," I explained.

"You saw that?" he asked, surprised.

"Yes," I giggled. 

"I'm sorry. He really doesn't have the right to hold you like he was. I mean he was really close to you too."

"I know, babe. Why'd you really do it?"

"Because you're my baby. My property."

"So, I'm your property?"

"Hmmm, yeah, I believe so."

I got up from his lap, " I gotta go, so you can get back to work. Remember, we're going to my parents house tonight," I reminded him.

"How are they going to believe me?"

"I don't know, but let's just wait, till we get there and see what happens, love," I leaned down to kiss him and his lips were so intense. His tongue, I don't know it was like it took over my mouth, but I loved it!

 "I'm proud of you, babe. I'm glad you proved her wrong. Gave her what she needed," after that, I dissipated into thin air.
