ABC Advice for a TeenA Story by Heartful5160I know it's advice for a teen, but really anyone can use it for themselves.ABC Advice for a TeenA- Accept people of all kinds. Don’t be judgemental and be a friend to all. I know there are many people in your school or at your own workplace that you may come across and you judge them by their looks, but did you ever think that they could use a friend or just wanted to be accepted for who they are? B- Believe that you can do anything you set your mind to and don’t doubt yourself. You can do anything that you set your mind to and you can reach the goals you set up. C- Challenge yourself with many obstacles and overcome them with nothing, but a smile. Your life is built up with nothing, but obstacles and sometimes you wonder if you can ever get over them and you will. It’s called life and that’s all life does, throws obstacles at you. D- Drive yourself to do things that you thought you would never do, for the better! You may think that you would never talk to the kid that sits alone at lunch or the kid that walks with his head hung low, but you did, for the better. People may talk about you, but inside you’ll feel better, and you know that you put a smile on God’s face and that’s because you know you did a good thing for you and that kid. E- Express yourself with what makes you, you. Express your style, fashion, & feelings. Expressing yourself through your fashion can let people know how you are, but also let your emotions and feelings out and let them know what you feel. F- Forgive the people that come across you with nothing, but hatred. In this world, teens can be quite evil and even adults and they come at you with rudeness for no reason, but go along and that person. Don’t hold grudges. May be in the end you could have yourself a new friend. G- Geniuses are hard to find these days, so make yourself a genius by studying and do your school work! You’ll know how far it’ll get you with being a genius in your life and in school. H- Happiness as a teen isn’t difficult, but sometimes there are times when we’re just down. But having happiness in our life makes us a better person in and out. Find something that makes you makes you have happiness. I- Inspire yourself and the people around you. Make people want to do something good for themselves. Being a teen is hard and it’s pretty hard to keep yourself out of trouble, but if you inspire someone to do something great, you never know what you might just change their outlook on life and their way of living. J- Joy is a great thing to experience as a teen. You can share your joy with your peers and it could rub off on them in a good way. You just never know. K- Kindness is something that kills. Have you ever heard of someone saying; kill a person with kindness, even though they treat you badly? Well, as a teen it can be pretty hard to do that, when you have people on your back constantly. Just kill them with kindness! L- Learn from your mistakes. As a teen you make mistakes here and there and you should learn from them, not go back and do them. We all make mistakes even when we grow up and you know what? We never quite learning. So learn from your mistakes and learn your material at school! M- Motivate yourself. When you’re a teen you might find that you might start failing in school or in life, but like myself I had to find something that would motivate me; to keep myself from doing wrong. I had to motivate myself so that I could keep my grades decent. O- Obey the rules and regulations in and out of school. It could end you up in bad places. At school it could end you up in detention or even worse, getting suspended. If you do wrong and you don’t obey the rules out of school, you might just go to jail, so obey the rules and regulations. P- Positive thinking is always better than negative thinking. When you think positive thoughts, you usually get positive actions. If you think negative than you get negative in actions. Q- Quietness can always be good as a teen. As a teen were surrounded by sounds that may be loud, and it’s always good to have that special time in your day to set aside for some quiet and think. R- Respect your elders and your peers. I know you may have heard that before, but it’s something we should always live by. Respecting someone may give you respect back. S- Smile you life away. We come face to face with problems in our lives, especially as a teen but it’s always better to face it with a smile. T- Teamwork can get you very far in school and in the work force. When you work in a team, you can always get more done. You can learn more things you probably didn’t even know in the beginning. You could get things done faster too! V- Value your education, because in other places some kids and teens don’t get the kind of education we get. W- Work hard when it comes to school. Work hard at trying to get your education. You’ll need it in the future. X- XO, share a hug and kiss with someone you love. Show them that you love them. Y- Young is what we are in and out. Being young can be something to be grateful for because not all people like to be old, because they can’t do as much anymore. When you’re young your ability to do more things is higher and possible.
