Twisted

Twisted

A Poem by Claire
"

I wrote this a long time ago, my writing has improved since then...but I still like this poem.

"
Twisted Little Words,
Every Single Lie,
I've Wished I Die,
Mended To a Single Point,
Held By A String,
Waiting to end this heart breaking Riddle,
I've Turned Every Switch,
I've Turned The Hands of Time,
and I've Seen everything,
Including the door to your heart,
But I'm afraid I made you fall apart,
When I realized,
Truth is a lie,
Lies are truth,
and tears are just fear,
Waiting to be unraveled,
Those Strings that once held us together,
No longer put us to a mend,
The shots and blows have put me to an end,
If only I knew this fear of me,
I'm sinking faster,
As lies untangle,
Disfigure,
Twine,
And Twist to the last twist...
