When the Sun met the Moon

When the Sun met the Moon

A Poem by Claire

Bonded by the endless game of adulation,
I pursue your every movement of constant rotation,

We contrary one another,
Two different wholes that make the world go round,

Your alluring beauty has caught me in its grasp,
Perfect structures imprinted in the fine skin of thy,

You raise as I fall below the skyline to yet met another daybreak,
I fall as you raise into azure sky of twilight,

You've grazed my heart deeply and I am eternally yours,
but my love is deep and I've loved you for billions of years,

Your dearest admirer, the Sun.
