Inner Struggle

Inner Struggle

A Poem by Sam

Day dreamers, oh sweet day dreamer

Where are you now?

Your beautiful chestnut waves

Barely cover your cute pierced ears

And when you run to catch the bus

Your curves bounce with thge wind

As you smile, you liught the room

Every boy wants to take your hand

Oh, my dear, you're so lovely

What with your piercing eyes

The adorable way you move

Everything about you is entrancing

When you get excited

You bite your lip, and twirl your locks

You look to be more, so much more

You feel the need to chance

But do you really?

All you are, is what you should be

Maybe you just need to open your heart

Let someone touch you

They may break it, or maybe they'll make it

Give yourself over, don't hold back

It's now, or you'll never know

Don't you want to fall in love?

Don't you wonder, what life could be

If you lived in the now, and let it happen

stop caring about what they see

When you're so perfect already

Day dreamer, oh day dreamer

Won't you just try and let yourself go?

Not for anyone

But me, yourself.
