Floating above

Floating above

A Poem by Sam

Breathing in even more deeply

Exhaling rather pleasantly

Eyes open wide once again

To see colours swirling

Around my body, nearly drowning me

They touch and embrace my soul

I fall, into their solemn prescence

Which carries my body slowly

Up into a pool of passion

Their very essence brings me to life

Suddenly, I can no longer remember

The sorrow, nor the anger

That I seemed to grip to so tightly

Before I let go of everything

When I sang, only for myself

Words of beauty and kindness

Which filled my entire vessel

Bring me to a place

Beyond physical touch

An abyss of complete wonder

Utter freedom

Endless life

This might sound really crude but I know that you're literary area of expertise is eroticism, could this poem be surrounding the feelings of masturbation? I'm just wondering cause that's what I thinking when I was reading it. Not for your background of literature either. I was just wondering. And it's wonderful the imagery you use and such. It's light and airy yet at the same time, condensed with so much meaning. Bravo, senorita.
