Make life what you want it to be. Work hard and achieve your goals for you and nobody else. Be selfish because at the end if the day that's who you have to please. You.

There's always a goal, even if that goal is death.

But, a positive goal is better, so it's good to have small goals even just ones like waking up every morning.
