Dark Loneliness

Dark Loneliness

A Poem by HeartInTheDark
"

Tiny Poem about Dark Loneliness

"

The dark loneliness in my heart,

Hits me like a poisonous dart,

The fact that I feel this pain,

Shows I have more to gain

I want to find someone to love,

So I can feel like a majestic dove

If I can do that before I die,

I will be happy it’s not a lie

But this dark loneliness in my heart,

Hits me like a poisonous dart

Not silly. Not bad for a start. We learn as we write and read others work. Valentine

I haven't seen anything else of yours yet, but have you tried a freer verse rather than restricting yourself to rhyming? I have the sense of real emotion here, but also that you're limiting your expression trying to fit into a form.
