A Poem by Marcus R V Fielder
"

Task for Textual Interventions.

"

One of those, cheesy-fries diners, filled

with American-style,

she drains herself here,

letting the urge for,

 apathy,

a Habit of worklessness

be discontented.

Will they file past and hang their heads in shame?

for, social standing, whatever they call it,

Call it a banana-who cares?

it’s all habits and routines.

She expulses her responsibilities here, -Would you like fries with that?

She’s quaking at the crossroads of adulthood,

swelling up in surprise,

birth is not over with that one extra push,

does she consider her sweeties welfare is an option for life?

what alternative?

 Duplicate routes are duplicate prisons.
