I Don't Wanna Go Out Tonight

I Don't Wanna Go Out Tonight

A Poem by Marcus R V Fielder

i don't want to go out tonight,

they aren't my kind of people,

they'd probably just stand in the corner,

looking awkward, feeling feeble,

begging and pleading for the party to finish,

they're self-confidence and courage start to diminish,

they'd drain all the alcahol, to feel more secure,

make the grey atmosphere easier to endure,

they should have brought people, they felt safer with,

they serve a helpful purpose, lots of support to give,

use them to encircle yourself,

ring of power,

still al ong way to go,

the clocks' struck the eleventh hour.
