Intrusion

Intrusion

A Poem by HeWhoJives

With every failure to knock
You remind me of the journals you took
The secrets you stole from me
I have not been able to call these tears my own
Since you first wielded my trust
Some grisly trophy from your conquering
Where will you mount my gullibility

Since then it’s only been a litany
At least keep rhythm with my heartache
