You Say I'm Bitter, I Say I'm Bleeding
A Poem by
Hayley
With trembling hands of ice
The morning bit my will
For wintry life;
My tears streamed fire
And I burned.

A little syllable play, a little different for me.

I refer to writes like this one, as ponderings, reflections in contemplation,,, to each is the message within,,, nicely done
In the world of habits, with trembling hands of ice, could refer to those moments before their habit offers them relief.
The morning bit my will, could mean that they could not keep their promise the nightly prayer made.
For wintry life; could mean their age was vastly becoming an issue.
My tears streamed fire, could mean the pains that the flames of reality brings in those brief moments of regret flowing from their minds deadness
And I burned, could mean that they gave in to that desire held in their habit of choice and feel the heat of pain within the passion of desire.
and to some one other only they know, this was nicely put for inner thought....
