![]() Olden LoveA Poem by HayleyI shall plan not to avenge his loner’s heart which shone so benign on the sea, ‘Tis a bloody tyrant forever marked on the hands of the blameworthy. Prithee the rushing of the wind will blow its despairing course, So God may tip the boat into gentle lullabies of remorse. Alas, a youthful bud of love blooms pink only in springtide, And fades with the beauty of many a flower pied. But whither thee tarry, O near blazing heart, Thou shalt be caught on fire whither thou art. © 2011 HayleyFeatured Review
