Masterpiece

Masterpiece

A Poem by Haydenloveland

I am a masterpiece
Of my own design

But they find imperfections within me
They paint

I scream out
But this is who I am!
But do they stop?
No

I start to cry
I was made this way
I was perfect

Until they thought it right
To cover my true self up
They paint and paint

Near the end of my life
Here I am
Looking like a wall
Graffitied to many times
My true self covered
So many times
I don't remember
What a masterpiece
That I was

Soooo good. Emotion really conveyed. Wrong to/too, though.

Gee
We are all mother made masterpieces, unique but flawed. As we age these flaws, imperfections are accepted more easily by ourselves and loved ones and life becomes a whole lot easier to live.
