A Poem by Kitten92

One wish for the dying,
and one for the damned,
one last pleasure,
but would you understand,
the desperation inside just to feel again,
to get rid of this sin,
but the reality of it is I'll never be free,
The curse of my deadened humanity forever encasing me,
but can you give me what i seek,
the sensation of which i bespeak,
wake the nerves inside me, dead,
even though my veins are empty threads,
that through my life have always bled,
but it's not that I doubt your love, dear,
Its not you that I fear,
a lifetime alone, empty,
drowning in my sea, of red,
can you teach me the ability to feel once more,
this is my last chance to restore,
what little i have to give,
And, I'll give it to you,
just bring me warmth,
hold me close,
and save me, i suppose,
save me, before my blood ceases to flow.

I hope we all experience this same salvation, before we die . . . life is just too cold without it. No one deserves to be alone . . . no one deserves to die alone, either
