I'm the man who lives in the shadows

Whose secrets have secrets.

 

I'm the man you dont want to f**k with

I'm not a good person

 

I'm rotten

all the way through.

 

My life

My job

They arn't good things

 

I've done things

that would put your very life

in Terrible danger

if you should ever find out.

 

I'm the type of guy

thats better off

Living forever in

The

shadows.

Someone who doesn't feel they deserve to experience light or love. -The reader knows the self perception is not entirely warrented due to the overiding message of selflessness and momorse. Saddest thing about this poem is the sense that despite these good qualities, due to their self perception, the writer might end up fulfilling their own proficy.
