Every Saturday Morning

Every Saturday Morning

A Poem by Havatara

Every Saturday morning, my breakfast

scrambled eggs the frying pan

sausages my plate

cranberry juices my plastic glass

cheeses everything I ate.

It milks my cartoony cereal

pancakes the refrigerator

coffees the whole kitchen

newspapers the front door

cats my father’s lap

weather-channels Mom’s TV

crazies my entire day.

Author's Note

Havatara
For my English class. We read a poem where the author used nouns as verbs, and we had to write our own version of it.
