![]() A Night at the Drive-InA Poem by Haunzwürthe![]() I loved going to the drive-in in San Diego. There is no other experience to compare it to.![]() As the dust settles in
A cool summer breeze
They arrive in droves
The children run playing
The concession line grows
The sodas get topped
The night wanders down
Cars blow their horns
Then the billboard ignites,
The sound though it saves
The title appears
The plot thickens still
The end closes near
Then one last bout
The patrons subdued
The victors rejoice
The credits compile
To their houses unknown
The last vehicle leaves
