Friendship at its End

Friendship at its End

A Poem by Hatter

You who was my friend

You who said you’d always be there

You who saw me cry and laugh

You who was my other half

Where are you?

Where did you go?

You left me all alone

When I want to cry your not there

When I want to share happiness your not there

When I want a hug your not there

I thought we were close

I thought we were BFFs

I thought we would always be together

At least that's what we said

Through thick and thin we said

No matter the distance we said

No matter when we became someone else we said

But now you’re gone

And I think I left you too

Although I did try not to

Good-bye seems to have been said

Although I do not remember saying it

But it seems that you already left

So goodbye my friend, goodbye
