When Love is Blind

 

 

 

A woman loves a man

She feels he can do no wrong

though he drinks alcohol in plenty

and flirts and frolics with girls

She feels he can do no wrong

though he flies into a rage

and breaks her poor heart

time after time, again and again

Love is blind, blind is love

that does not know imperfection

 

A man loves a woman

He feels she can do no wrong

though she drinks alcohol in plenty

and goes out at night till dawn

He feels she can do no wrong

though she flies into fits of weeping

and complains of coping with poverty

Love is blind, blind is love

that does not know imperfection
