TEEN

TEEN

A Poem by Random
"

This is my first sonnet poem, I follow the Shakespearean sonnet. This poem reflects how aggressive teenagers nowadays...

"
Those were teenagers
Fighting for what they have not known.
Firing against the soldier
And in the sea they drown.

Drowning, they were caught
And brought in the base
Soldiers they fought.
Now, freedom is what they chase.

They planned to escape, late at night.
Unfortunately they were caught and tie
But still they tend to fight
When they are about to die...

I heard my mother shout,
Opening my eyes I saw her pout.

Beautiful poem, but if you are writing like a Shakespearian sonnet, make sure you are using iambic pentameter. Keep up the good work!!

Very good, Random! This was a smack of brutal truth. I really enjoyed reading it. I especially like the last two lines.
