Chapter SixteenA Chapter by Chris
Greg and Kyle walked into Greg's bedroom. The blond looked around a little, taking in every inch of it, while the other male went straight to his bed and sat down at the foot of it, hardly showing any emotion on his face. “Still the same since the last time I came here,” Kyle pointed out, saying it to no one in particular as he continued to look around before heading towards Greg's closet. The Sophomore didn't say anything, but instead just sat there while watching Kyle. His mind continuously yelled at him for doing something so stupid. However, he couldn't help it. There was a part of him that wanted to let Kyle commit suicide, but the majority of him couldn't allow something like that. Even though the Junior treated him so cruelly, he was still a human being, and Greg couldn't just allow anyone to die; his conscience wouldn't allow it. Greg was startled out of his cloud of thoughts upon hearing his cell phone ringing. He pulled it out of his pants' pocket and was about to look to see who it was when Kyle yanked it out of his hands. After apparently checking who it was, Kyle started to do something else with the phone. “What are you doing?” Greg questioned as he stood up to look at the screen on the cell phone. “Deleting Zach from your contacts list,” Kyle stated. Greg wanted to yell at him for saying something like that and yank the phone away from the older male, but he suppressed the urge, knowing that it wouldn't do him a bit of good. He felt like his heart was torn in two when he watched Zach's phone number get deleted from his contacts list. “I don't want you hanging out with him, talking to him, or even looking at him, got it?” Kyle said sternly as he looked at Greg with a rather cold look while holding his cell phone out. The shorter male nodded before taking the phone and slipping it into his pocket. “Good,” said Kyle before he reached out and caressed Greg's cheek a little, smiling some. “I love you Greg.” Greg looked at Kyle for a second before his gaze fell to the floor beneath them. He then felt the cold, bony fingers grip harshly onto his cheek, the slightly sharp fingernails digging into his skin a little. “I love you Greg,” Kyle repeated, a hint of anger behind the false happiness that he tried to inflict in his voice. “I love you too,” Greg said rather dryly, trying his hardest to keep the fear from showing in his voice. “There, that's better,” Kyle said, the anger gone and the happiness returning as he smiled. He relinquished Greg's cheek before briefly kissing him on the cheek and wrapping his arms around him. Greg hesitated at first, but slowly hugged him back, though as loosely as possible. The smell of cigarettes drifted up into his nostrils, making him rather sick as he continued to stand there in the male's arms. He soon felt a cold hand slide down his back and to his rear end. The Sophomore tried to pull away, but to only have Kyle tighten the hug as he kissed him on the neck. Next thing Greg knew, he was being pushed onto the bed with Kyle on top of him. He wanted to push the older male off of him, but he refrained from doing so, wanting to prevent himself from receiving a beating he would more than likely get for doing something like that. A cold hand soon went up his shirt, rubbing his torso as Kyle went to kiss Greg on the lips. Before the blond had a chance though, Greg's cell phone rang again. The brown-haired boy couldn't have been more happy to hear the ring tone. “Goddamn it, who the hell is it this time?” Kyle asked before giving an irritable sigh and getting up off of Greg. Greg sat up and pulled out the phone to see Zach's number. He wanted to answer it, and tell him that he was sorry he wasn't at the park and how it was all just a huge mistake. He wanted to just leave Kyle and forget about him, but what if he tried to commit suicide again? Greg just wasn't able to let something like that happen. “Don't tell me it's him again,” mumbled Kyle irritably as he looked down at the number showing on the phone. “Tell him you're breaking up with him,” the blond ordered right before the cell phone stopped ringing. Greg looked at Kyle in disbelief. His mouth hung open, but no words came out. “I want you to send him a text message saying you're breaking up with him. You're through with him anyway. You're going out with me now, remember?” The Sophomore sighed as he started to create a new text message. His fingers didn't move upon opening the editor though, but instead he just stared down at the screen. “C'mon, what the hell are you waiting for?” Kyle asked a bit angrily. “Make the f*****g text message already!” “I-I can't,” Greg muttered weakly. “Give it here,” Kyle commanded with an exasperated sigh as he took the cell phone from the younger male. “F*****g p***y, can't do s**t by yourself,” Kyle mumbled as he began to make the text message. Greg sat there and watched him. He felt as though his heart had been shredded into a million pieces. Most of him wanted to rip the cell phone from Kyle's hands and stop him from making the text message, but his body didn't react to a single thing his brain told it to do. All he could do was sit there and watch as Kyle sent the text message. “There, that should take care of him now,” Kyle said as he handed the cell phone back to Greg. The brown-haired male slowly took it before slipping it back into his pocket. Kyle got up from the bed afterwards and began to stroll around the room, looking at anything that happened to catch his interest. Greg looked out the window, reflecting over what Kyle just did. He felt like crying, but he couldn't; he felt as though he was dead inside. “What's this?” questioned Kyle. Greg turned his head to see the blond holding the stuffed monkey Zach had won him. “It's something that Zach won me,” Greg replied. Kyle gave a sort of disgusted and angered look at the monkey before walking over and chucking it into the trash. Greg naturally got up from his bed and walked over to get the monkey out. “What the hell are you doing?!” Kyle snapped. “Throw that f*****g piece of s**t away!” “I don't want to,” said Greg a little angrily, looking Kyle straight in the eye. Kyle stared at Greg in disbelief for a second before anger washed onto his expressions. He threw a right hook to Greg's face, causing the shorter male to stumble to the side a little from the force. “You stupid piece of s**t, throw that f*****g thing away!” Kyle yelled. Greg didn't say anything, but instead slowly dropped the monkey into the small trash can. “There, that's better,” Kyle said before he gave a small smile. “I love you Greg.” Greg looked towards the blond for a moment before faking a smile. “I love you too,” he replied. Kyle wrapped his arms around Greg and the younger male returned the hug a few seconds later before feeling the Junior kissing him on the side of the neck. The hug broke a few seconds later and Greg looked up at Kyle. “Come on, let's go do something,” Kyle said. Greg nodded before following Kyle out of the room. © 2009 Chris |
