Epilogue

Epilogue

A Chapter by Chris

A young man that looked to be college age wandered through a somewhat large graveyard. His hazel eyes scanned all the tombstones in search for the one he was looking for. It wasn't too much longer until he came to it. The letters that were engraved on it read “Sean Smith.”

A soft smile curved on Alex's lips as he looked down at the gravestone of the one he had lost a few years ago. All the good times he had with Sean came to his mind and nostalgic came over him. All those memories felt like they happened just yesterday. There was a part of him that yearned to return to those days so he would be able to hold the one he loved in his arms again.

His fingers played a little with the rose he held in his hand for a moment before he gently set the flower on the ground before the tombstone. He knelt down before the grave and stared at the name etched in the stone. The nostalgic smile never left his face as the memories continued to play through his mind like a movie.

Even though Sean had passed away, he still felt as though Sean was still there with him. No, he didn't just feel as though he there, he knew he was there. There would never be a time when Sean would leave his side.

Alex slowly rose to his feet. His eyes rested on the clear, sunny sky overhead for a moment. He then turned around and started to make his way out of the grave, knowing that Sean would always be watching him from above.

Well, that's the ending. I know it's short, but I couldn't really think of anything else that I could've put. Is the ending good enough? Also, how was the book overall?

Good book over-all. However have it so Alex has a new love, so we know he moved on. It's nice that he hasn't forgotten Sean, but have it so we know Alex is some freak now pining for a dead boy. Yes it's his first love, which he'll never forget, but also make it so he has moved on.

Yes it's a good ending. I cried. It's so sad, and what I'm wondering is; Will Alex ever find love again? If he does it'll be a long time I think...
