Hearing voices

Hearing voices

A Poem by Haru Shimo

Flash after flash
They swim in my head
All at once
I can't separate them
It's chaos up there
Yet I can't control them
The scenes the names
They all jumble around
Like a knot that can't be untied
Their voices ring out
Which one belongs to whom
...unknown faces appear
Giving appearance to new creations
Yet they co-exist with the familiar
Where do they belong?
It's a mad house in my mind...
In my mind there is an on going war of attention
