Hidden Battles

"Hey! You could kill someone with that!" at the last word I turned my head from them as I placed my hand on the gunshot wound with a smile. "Can't believe they shot me."

Finally the moon had cradled the sun to sleep so that night would befall over the sky. After a hard days of training non-stop I'd be in the tent I had been assigned along with the other sleeping soldiers yet here I was wandering about not realizing where exactly I was headed.

A couple steps ahead of me I could see the glow of a lantern flickering inside of the tent causing slightly familiar and unfamiliar shadows dancing along the ground. Curiousity seemed to overpower any deny that the rest of my body had, if there was any to begin with, and moved me ever closer to the source. Soon I could hear sounds of voices. Some deeper than the rest yet there was one that stood out. Upon further inspection, which only involved an ear almost against the cover of the tent, found that the voice belonged to none other than the commander.

I could hear them discussing tactics about the upcoming battle. Hearing the absurd discussion, even i could tell that what they were deciding was a suicide mission. I shook my head as i continued to listen. There were so many things wrong with this mission, things they were even thinking about taking into consideration. Someone had to tell them. As i kept thinking, my feet began to move on their own and as soon as i knew it i was pushing the tent door open revealin the lead commander and lieutenants all in the same tent.

I'm mainly just going to speak about what I write about instead of explaining myself. I write stories I like to call remixes that others would call fan fiction. Along side that I like to write mainly .. more..
