A Poem by darrian

Seperated only by a sheet of glass

my hand still sealed against it.

Closest as I can be, to have you with me.

Even if the sunlight blinds my eyes or

the rain drowns me away.

I'll keep my hand sealed to the glass,

that thin sheet of glass.

Seperated only by a sheet of glass

my hand still sealed against it.

The fog from your breath is so close,

I can almost taste it.

Even if the dark overwhelms us or

the poison intoxicates.

I'll forever keep my hand sealed to the glass,

that thin sheet of glass.

Seperated only by a sheet of glass

my hand still sealed against it.

Desperation kills,

the power of love takes over.

I'll count to three,

and together we'll attempt impossibilities.

We've shattered the barrier.

and now I'll forever keep my hand sealed against your heart,

your beautiful heart.
