The boy and his shadow

The boy and his shadow

A Poem by Sam yay!
"

A poem about something I've wondered about hope you guys enjoy :)

"
Both of them

He knew nothing
He knew all.
He knew something.
Was he at all?
He was a being
A silhouette
Completely seeing
Nothing to get.
Sometimes at night
Never ever ever
He was a sight.
A shadow forever.

The shadow

During the day
With one thing to do,
There appears a shadow,
A shadow named Sue.
Sue works for one person
Slinking around,
He mirrors their image,
With none of a sound.
Outside of this style
He wishes to go
To his fantasy land
To shadow on snow!

The being

Sometimes I think
That our shadows aren't our own
That there are things
That are workers to be shown.
That they follow us around,
That they have no choice
That in their transparent minds
They wish to rejoice.
That they wish to go
To their fantasy land
But their owners don't know
Because they're in command.
