I Miss You

I Miss You

A Poem by Harquin
"

A poem I wrote about my father.

"
If I could sleep right now
I would sleep on end
the sadness it brings me from me not seeing him.

I sleep to not see, the world that's around me.
I can't think straight
my heart begins to palpitate
to the fear that i am wasting time.

I remember those days when he was still here
it seems like yesterday
but it happened two years.

My head made it hard to see
what a good man was in front of me.

I quaver from seeing the light outside
to think that it's such a good day
without him by my side.

It's hard to live when someone leaves.
But I have to keep on going to
see what life has for
me.
