Tears of a sunset

Tears of a sunset

A Poem by Quattro Hall

Apologies to whom I may have loved.

This sky is for you. With tears in my eyes I cry out to you my angel.

Sweet meetings, loving encounters, I want the sun to set so I can tell you that tomorrow is almost near.

I need you, I need to forget you.

I can still taste your tears from that last kiss.

Angel why don’t you cry for me?

Do you hate me?

I stand high watching the last ray of sun touch the sky.

Your tears are bitter and sad.

Mine are of time, cold and tasteless, like an oceans rain.
