How to tell about loveA Poem by Quattro HallIf you had to tell someone about love for the first time. Someone who has no idea what it is? Could you do it? Could you describe the feeling of holding a hand? Gripping a hug with passion and care? Is there a way to say how the person lights up? With out seeing it for them selves? The feeling of butterfly's in your stomach, goosebumps across your skin. How do you describe a kiss? What it means? How it feels? Would you leave out the bad? Could you tell them that theirs no pain like a broken heart? That it can hurt so bad it can make you feel as if you cant live your own life? Or even love ever again. that it can brake you down in ways to hard and heavy for words. It can make the things you do seem pointless even questionable. How about be left alone, cast out, forgotten. Because she doesn't want you or your friends leave you in hell of wake of yourself. For the love but forget they may have a friend that needs them. So could you really tell them? About love that something so wonderful, so fulfilling in an others feels for you. the greatest thing you can ever feel, live through, experience. Then also tell them that it will be the most painful thing you will ever do. The wounds dont ever heal right sometimes not at all. Its the hardest thing we do yet some how we see its worth it. All the wounds the cracks in our hearts and moments felt in time, tied to memory. Do you think you can? --Kasval (Quattro)-- © 2013 Quattro Hall |
